Summary
SpinTrack runs on your own computer. Your music library, schedules, logs, and database stay on your machine. We do not receive your content or your broadcast data. This page explains the limited information we do handle.
1. Who we are
SpinTrack is published by Kevin Gossett, doing business as Gossett Media, Phoenix, Arizona, USA. Contact: spintrack@gossettmedia.com.
2. Information we collect
When you buy: our payment processor collects your name, email address, billing details, and payment information to complete the purchase. We receive your name, email address, country, and order details so we can deliver your license key and support you. We do not receive or store your full card number.
When you contact us: we keep the emails you send and our replies.
License checks: when you activate or validate a license key, the Software may send the key and basic information needed to enforce the installation limit (such as an installation identifier) to the licensing service.
Our website: may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) and, if enabled, basic privacy-respecting analytics.
3. Information we do not collect
We do not collect your audio files, playlists, schedules, logs, listener data, or the contents of your database. The Software does not send these to us. If you choose to stream to a server or use another service from inside the Software, that data goes to the service you chose, not to us.
4. How we use information
We use it to process orders, deliver and validate licenses, provide support, send important notices about your purchase or the Software, prevent fraud and license abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
5. Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business (payment processing, license delivery, email, website hosting), when the law requires it, or to protect our rights. These providers may only use the data to provide their services to us.
6. Retention
We keep order and license records as long as needed to support your license and meet tax, accounting, and legal requirements. Support emails are kept as long as they are useful for support.
7. Your choices and rights
You may ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we must legally keep. Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK or California), you may have additional rights, including objecting to or restricting processing and data portability. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Because your library and database stay on your computer, you are responsible for securing and backing them up.
9. Children
SpinTrack is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10. International use
We are based in the United States. If you use the Software or our site from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the United States.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
